A voice that
traveled.
A few more chapters in Geula’s musical life, found in newspapers, radio, and the archives of Israeli folk music.

The voice behind
“At Va’Ani.”
For a new dance commissioned by Fred Berk, Ami Gilad composed the music, Nechemia Sharabi wrote the words, Danny Uziel created the steps — and Geula supplied the voice.
The Israeli Dance Institute places the collaboration in 1962. A later account in Rokdim–Nirkoda describes the dance’s continuing place in folk-dance circles.
